Each year, the Foundation's programs help motivate hundreds of exceptionally promising individuals to emerge as leaders in America's Armed Forces and other professional disciplines.
The Council of Promising Leaders is a small group of exceptionally promising young students who consistently display the seven Army values in order to positively influence communities, families, and youth.
The Greer Foundation presents this special award to individuals who exemplify the characteristics of MSG William “Chief” Carlson – fearlessness, mental and physical toughness, and dedication to his mates.
The Greer Foundation presents this award to individuals or organizations who exemplify the characteristics of two of America's finest young Army officers - Captain Michael Tarlavsky and Chief Warrant Officer Bruce Price.

Steve and Jennifer were recently honored at the 3-71 Cavalry Regiment Military Ball at Fort Drum, NY on September 27, 2008.
Steve will be the guest speaker at the Military Honors Parade at Georgia Military College on March 13, 2009 and will award two Tomahawk Medals.
The Tarlavsky-Price Youth Leadership Award is being presented to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Middle Georgia Region. Congratulations!
